is a Japanese word meaning :The philosophy of constant improvement in business enterprises. The deliberate focus and work to : Being more efficient and productive. Seven years ago (2016) I performed the night audit about twice a week at a hotel in Alexandria, VA ( Metro Washington DC ). Each time I did - I had to share different reports with the general manager, the head accountant, and the director of sales. I used to just write their names on a 8.5 x 11 folded sheet of paper to form a folder to put them in. That was rather dull. I decided to make the 'folder' a little more interesting by drawing / adding a quote. Other co-workers started enjoying them and so I began posting them to the back office bulletin board. Several months later,... the 'collection' had grown. Here they are presented in this sorta online gallery ( below ) to share with you. I made an earnest attempt to share them in the chronologial order in which they were made. Note... I did these at work. So, I had to sketch them up quickly ( they didn't pay me to draw ! ) I'm filled with an empowering energy
